Located farther east along Sunset Boulevard than most tourists venture, east of Hollywood, east of the 101 in fact (but still west of Dodger Stadium), Silverlake is a vibrant, diverse community with a few very interesting shops and restuarants loosely arranged around Silver Lake (complete with its own monster). In addition to an interesting adventure, Silverlake boasts one of the most impresseive caches of modernist architecture in America.
