Frenchtown District - St. Charles, Missouri

Founded by French settlers (hence the name), the Frenchtown District is one of St. Charles' four historic districts. This is a funkier, newer, more up and coming section of town and a haven for antiques.

Not far from St. Louis, St. Charles is a small city with a country feel. The 10 block 200 year old Main Street is Missouri's first historic shopping district. A separate neighborhood in town, called the Frenchtown District houses the city's Antiques Row.
