Old Village - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

The charming sleepy downtown of this vibrant, highly developed town (there's a Target, Whole Foods, and everything else you need) just a couple of miles from the Atlantic Ocean and Charleston. It would be a shame if you missed the tiny country village of Mount Pleasant.

Ansonborough Inn - Charleston, South Carolina

Ansonborough Inn
21 Hasell Street
Charleston, SC

Originally a three-story stationer’s warehouse (circa 1901), the building was designed for individual condominium units. As a result their suites are larger than most hotel rooms. Following the original renovation, the Ansonborough Inn has been transformed into this charming all-suite inn. Exposed heart pine beams and local fire red brick were commonly used in buildings of the period and these elements were incorporated in the décor throughout the Inn. Its slightly off the beaten path but I stayed here and loved it!
