This collected group of log cabins (many of which are reproductions) was pulled together in the early 20th century by members of the town and county, especially artist George Honig to commemorated Lincoln and provide a learning environment for the community. It depicts what life may have been like in a Spencer County pioneer village in the early 19th century.

These log cabins (many of which are reproductions) were collected in the early 20th century through the efforts of the local community, and spearheaded by artist George Honig, to commemorated Lincoln and provide a learning environment for the area's history. The site depicts what life may have been like in a Spencer County pioneer village in the early 19th century. Although open mainly from May to October, we've included it today as the village becomes haunted mid October.
