The Antique and Design Centers of Stamford, Connecticut

South of Route 95, wedged between the highway and the Long Island Sound, Stamford Connecticut's imposing warehouse district has been home to a not so well kept secret for many years now. Interior designers and antiques enthusiasts flock to the many centers housed in these former working class buildings.   Not all of these fit the definition of "country" but most include folk art, garden accessories, and industrial elements so they're worthy of a look, especially if you like to browse.
