Located about two hours north of Phoenix and 25 miles west of Sedona, Jerome is a former ghost town, saved by the active Jerome Historical Society in the 1950s. Today, they've managed to protect most of this quaint town, built into the side of Cleopatra Hill and now filled with quite a few artists, museums, and restaurants.
