Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival - Huntington, Illinois

Forks of the Wabash Pioneer Festival - Pioneering spirits re-enact the mid-1800s as they set up camp, while Hoosiers of just a slightly later time period set up a thriving business district in Olde Town. Talk to them about their lives, hear the blast of the cannon that punctuates the military drills, and send the youngsters off to have fun playing pioneer games. Check out the handmade crafts, the antique motorcars and engines, and the farmers' market. Stop and hear the roving entertainers, or take a seat and enjoy the melodrama or stage show. And let the kids take a ride on a horse and wagon or listen to Teddy Roosevelt tell stories.
