Guilford, Connecticut
This has always been one of my favorite Connecticut shore villages. As a frequent commuter from Rhode Island to New Jersey, we made many stops at a local restaurant right on Guilford's massive green. The Guilford Keeping Society maintains several historic sites throughout town including the Thomas Griswold House and the Medad Stone Tavern.
Other sites include:
The Hyland House
Dorothy Whitfield Historic Society
Box 229,
Guilford, CT
Henry Whitfield State Museum

Oh, and the restaurant?
