Landmark Trust - Dummerston, Vermont
Landmark Trust
707 Kipling Road
Dummerston, Vermont
802.257.7783
Created in 1991 after a similar model in Great Britain, the Landmark Trust purchases and restores historically significant properties that are too far gone or too expensive for the average restorer. Luckily for us, once they're done, they let the public move in for short stays. So far, all four of their properties are located in southern Vermont and include Rudyard Kipling's former home, Naulakha. Pictured here is the charming Amos Brown house in Whitingham.
